Kali Jai Temple

Kali Jai Temple is one of the major holy shrines of the region, which is located close to Balugaon. The shrine is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kali Jai, featuring various figurines and images of Hindu. Kali Jai Temple is also worshipped as Istha Devi by fishermen in the region. The shrine is one of the most revered shrines among Oriya community and is accessible from Balugan. Chilka Lake (Chilika Lake) is a brackish water lagoon, spread over the Puri, Khurda and Ganjam districts of Orissa state on the east coast of India, at the mouth of the Daya River, flowing into the Bay of Bengal. It is the largest coastal lagoon in India and the second largest lagoon in the World.
